Yellow angels decided to change their nicknames to “The Come-Back Queen” this time and beat Russian giants Dinamo Moscow 3-2 after an outstanding performance by coming back from 0-2. No need to mention the intense atmosphere in the hall, thanks to the devoted Fenerbahce fans…

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team recorded a 3-0 win over Polish side Aluprof Bielska-Biala in the CEV Indesit Champions League after a good performance infront of devoted fans. Fenerbahce remain undefeated after three matchdays and stay at the top of the group.

Team is working like a clock and when you add the intense support they are having from the fans; it wouldn’t be too much optimism to say that this team has a very bright future ahead as long as they keep playing their hearts out like this.

Note: After game celebrations and the participation of the players in it is a sign of true Fenerbahce spirit. This team deserve all the praise…

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team recored a 3-0 win over Dinamo Moscow in Russia after an outstanding performance. Opponents were the finalists of two CEV Indesit Champions League finals in the last three and expected one of the contenders for the title this year, again.

In season previews, Fenerbahce were expected to be in the group that will chase the Final Four in the Champions League. After every match this sounds more realistic.

Team is playing with their hearts out and showing characteristics of true Fenerbahce spirit on and off the field. Another fact to underline; The Yellow Angels have won all the official matches played this season and only gave away a single set including Turkish League and Champions League competitions, up to now. ” Hats off ” seems only thing to add…

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team started the CEV Indesit Champions League campaign with a 3-0 comfortable win over Czech club VK Prostejov.

First two sets were comfortable comparing to the last set. The motivation factor was on the opponents side as the last sets’ being their last chance to stay in the match but Fenerbahce Acibadem again reached their potential at the third quarter of the last set and avoid giving a set away.

Next match will be against the tough side Dinamo Moscow which is considered to be a decisive game in the group for top rankings.

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team beat arch-rivals Galatasaray 3-0 after a great performance on the opening game of the Turkish Volleyball League.

With world class additions to the already strong squad such as Ekaterina Gamova, Natasha Osmokrovic, Naz Aydemir, Alice Bloom and Frauke Dirickx Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team sets the goals lot high this season especially in the European competitions.

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team beat Eczacibasi Zentiva 3-1 on the 4th game of the final series and with a 3-1 total wins they deservedly clinched the title!

Determination the team show when it comes to crucial moments in this and the rest of the final series was more than impressive and this team made the club and the fans proud once again with their team spirit. What can you ask more from your beloved team as long as they play their hearts out ?

Congratulation “Yellow Angels”, what you got in your hands now is what you deserved.

Fenerbahce Men’s volleyball team lost 3-0 to Istanbul B.S.B. Volleyball and blew the chances to carry the championship hopes to the last game. After this result Istanbul B.S.B. Volleyball clinched the title and Fenerbahce finished the season in the second place.

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team recorded a massive result by beating Eczacibasi Zentiva 3-2 at away after a fine performance and now lead the final series 1-0.

Team’s determination and confidence especially at the final two sets was more than impressive and this spirit lets the team achieve a great comeback in the game. Score was 2-1 after three sets and at the fourth set opponents were leading the set 19-12 but as mentioned thanks to the great team spirit the yellow angels turned the game around and won that set 25-23 and with the morale boost-up team dominated the tie-break set with a 15-10 win.

The second game will be on 24 April, Friday, at 20:00 (local time, -1 for CET) at home venue.

Fenerbahce men’s volleyball team recorded a loss against Istanbul B.S.B. Volleyball and now the opponents lead the series 2-1. The team reach three wins will be the champions of Turkish Volleyball League 2008-2009 season. The talented player of Fenerbahce, Arslan Eksi who got injured in the second game of the series missed this game, too.

Fenerbahce men’s team face Istanbul B.S.B on the final of the Turkish Volleyball League. In the best of five series the team who reach thre wins will be the champions of 2008-2009 Men’s Turkish Volleyball Season.

First game will be today at 18:00, in Istanbul. The second game will be on Sunday 19th April.

Fenerbahce Men and Women Volleyball Teams are Both in the League Finals

Fenerbahce volleyball teams are having another succesful season as both teams reached the league finals after impressive performances in the quarter and semi final play-offs.

Fenerbahce men’s volleyball team finished the regular season at the 5th place and faced 4th placed Halkbank Volleyball in the play-offs. After sweeping their opponents in the series with consecutive three wins in a row, the upcoming opponents were Arkasspor; the team which finished the regular season in the 1st place. Fenerbahce men’s volleyball team once again showed their true potential and passed their opponents 3-2 in a best-of-five series. Now the team is in the final and the opponent is Istanbul B.S.B; the team which finished the regular season in the 3rd place. The series will start on 16 April 2009 and the team reach three wins will be the Champions of Turkish Volleyball League 2008-2009 season.

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team finished the regular season at 4th place and faced 5th placed Eregli Bld. in the play-offs. Yellow Angels comfortably passed their opponents with three wins in a row and matched with arch-rivals Galatasaray in the semi-finals. After sweeping their opponents with another three wins in a row, Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team reached the final and started to wait their opponents which will come from the other semi-final series; Eczacibasi Zentiva – T. Telekom Ankara where Eczacibasi Zentiva lead the series 2-1 after three games. The dates of the League Final will be declared after the result of this serie.

Fenerbahce men’s volleyball team recorded a valuable 3-0 victory over Arkasspor at away and won the series 3-2. After this result Fenerbahce qualified to the FINAL of the Turkish Volleyball League. The opponent will be Istanbul B.S.B and the winner of the serie will be the champions of 2008-2009 season.
