Fenerbahce men’s basketball team transferred Croatian international point guard Roko Ukic from NBA team Milwaukee Bucks. Roko Ukic will be in Istanbul on the weekend.
It is believed that the presences of Croatian star Gordan Giricek and despite all the criticism still a legend in Balkans; Bogdan Tanjevic played an important role on the transfer.

Fenerbahce men’s basketball team record an important win over rivals Besiktas in Abdi Ipekci Arena on the 12th matchday of the Turkish Basketball League. Fenerbahce were 54-45 ahead at the end of the first half.

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team recorded a 3-0 win over Polish side Aluprof Bielska-Biala in the CEV Indesit Champions League after a good performance infront of devoted fans. Fenerbahce remain undefeated after three matchdays and stay at the top of the group.
Team is working like a clock and when you add the intense support they are having from the fans; it wouldn’t be too much optimism to say that this team has a very bright future ahead as long as they keep playing their hearts out like this.
Note: After game celebrations and the participation of the players in it is a sign of true Fenerbahce spirit. This team deserve all the praise…

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team recored a 3-0 win over Dinamo Moscow in Russia after an outstanding performance. Opponents were the finalists of two CEV Indesit Champions League finals in the last three and expected one of the contenders for the title this year, again.
In season previews, Fenerbahce were expected to be in the group that will chase the Final Four in the Champions League. After every match this sounds more realistic.
Team is playing with their hearts out and showing characteristics of true Fenerbahce spirit on and off the field. Another fact to underline; The Yellow Angels have won all the official matches played this season and only gave away a single set including Turkish League and Champions League competitions, up to now. ” Hats off ” seems only thing to add…

Fenerbahce women’s volleyball team started the CEV Indesit Champions League campaign with a 3-0 comfortable win over Czech club VK Prostejov.
First two sets were comfortable comparing to the last set. The motivation factor was on the opponents side as the last sets’ being their last chance to stay in the match but Fenerbahce Acibadem again reached their potential at the third quarter of the last set and avoid giving a set away.
Next match will be against the tough side Dinamo Moscow which is considered to be a decisive game in the group for top rankings.
